# Test Form Results
Submitting a form through Live Preview won’t create an indistinguishable live response.
Instead, Preview submissions are clearly marked as Test results in both Email Alerts and the Results Dashboard:
This makes it easy to test your form repeatedly while you’re building it, without confusing test submissions with real responses.
Once you’re happy with your form, simply delete any test results you no longer need and publish your final version.
# Test PDF Results
If you’ve configured PDF Results, Live Preview lets you test the generated PDF before publishing your form.
Submit a test response through Preview and you can check that your PDF is being generated correctly, including the form data and any other configured content:
This is particularly useful for checking your PDF layout and making sure the final document contains everything you expect before real users start submitting your form.
