Offline Recovery

Offline Recovery helps prevent users from losing their progress if something interrupts their form session.

An accidental page refresh, closed tab, or connection problem doesn’t have to mean starting over. Form data is automatically saved and restored, allowing users to continue filling out the form from where they left off.

Offline Recovery works with all Form Fields (even signatures and file uploads) and keeps the user’s entered data until the form is successfully submitted. This means users can even leave a form and return weeks later to continue where they left off.

Here’s an example of a form being refreshed while data has already been entered:

Offline Recovery runs automatically in the background, storing form progress locally on the user’s device.

If the form is interrupted or the page is refreshed, the saved data is restored when the user returns to the form. There’s no need for users to manually save their progress or create an account.

# Enable Offline Recovery

You can enable or disable Offline Recovery from your form’s Settings page:

Once enabled, your users can safely leave and return to their form without losing the information they’ve already entered.

Offline Recovery gives users peace of mind when completing longer forms and helps prevent valuable responses from being abandoned because of a refresh, closed tab, or temporary connection interruption.
