Driveway Quote Request Form

A driveway quote template — area, surface, what’s there now and drainage captured up front, so you can price a driveway without measuring on site.

Description

A driveway quote turns on how big it is, what you’re laying, what’s already there, and where the water goes. This form gathers all of it, so the price you send holds — not a figure revised the moment you’ve seen the front of the house. It opens on what sets the cost: the rough area in square metres, the surface you want — block paving, resin, tarmac, gravel or concrete — what’s down now and whether it needs digging out, and how the drive drains. Since 2008 a new impermeable driveway over five square metres facing a road needs planning permission unless the water drains to a permeable area, so the form asks about surface and drainage for a reason, not red tape. Put it behind your “get a quote” button and turn “how much to redo my drive?” into a priceable job. Free, brandable, and it saves the drive out just to measure up.

Template FAQs

Common questions about the Driveway Quote Request Form — what it captures, when to use it, and how to make it your own.

What do you need to quote a driveway?

The rough area in square metres, the surface you want, what’s there now and whether it needs excavating, and how it drains. That’s enough to send an accurate price.

How do I measure my driveway?

Pace or tape the length and width in metres and multiply for a rough area — exact isn’t needed for a quote. We confirm precise measurements at the survey before any materials are ordered.

Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?

If you lay an impermeable surface over five square metres between your house and the road, yes — unless the water drains to a permeable border, lawn or soakaway. Permeable paving, gravel and permeable resin avoid it. We’ll advise on the form answers.

Which driveway surface is best?

Block paving is hard-wearing and repairable; resin looks smart and drains well; tarmac is cost-effective for larger drives; gravel is cheap and permeable. Each has a different price and look — pick one or ask us to advise.

Does digging out the old drive cost extra?

Usually — breaking up and removing an old surface is labour and skip hire, and a weak base may need rebuilding. Flagging what’s there means the quote includes it, so there’s no surprise once work starts.

Is the quote request free?

Yes — free with a Fun Forms account, fully customisable, and it embeds on your site or shares as a link.
