Template FAQs
Common questions about the Electrolysis Consultation Form — what it captures, when to use it, and how to make it your own.
What makes electrolysis different from laser?
Electrolysis treats each hair individually with a fine probe and can permanently remove hair of any colour — including grey, red and fine blonde hair that laser can’t target. It’s slower but works where laser can’t.
Why ask about hormonal factors?
Because much unwanted hair is driven by PCOS, menopause or other hormonal changes, which affect how much ongoing treatment is needed. Understanding the cause helps set realistic expectations about the course.
Does electrolysis work on any hair colour?
Yes — unlike laser, it doesn’t rely on pigment, so it treats grey, white, red and fine blonde hair as effectively as dark hair. That’s often exactly why clients seek it out.
What contraindications does the form check?
A pacemaker or metal implant, diabetes, pregnancy, blood thinners and skin conditions in the area — the factors that affect whether and how electrolysis can be carried out safely.
Is a patch test needed?
Yes, as with most treatments, a patch test confirms how the skin responds before a full course. The consultation identifies who needs careful testing and planning.
Is the form free?
Yes. It’s free with a Fun Forms account, fully brandable, and ready to embed or share as a link.
