Hedge Trimming Quote Request Form

A hedge-cutting quote template — length, height, type and access captured, so a hedge job is priced without climbing a ladder first.

Description

A hedge quote turns on how long it is, how tall, what kind, and whether it can be reached safely from the ground. This form gathers all of it, so you can price a hedge-cutting job from the details rather than driving out to crane your neck at it. It opens on what sets the cost: the rough length in metres, the height — waist-high to well over head height — the type (conifer, leylandii, box, mixed, overgrown), and access, since a tall hedge over a fence or near wires needs more care, kit and time. It also asks who’s clearing the clippings, which on a big hedge is a job in itself. Put it behind your “get a quote” button and turn “how much to cut my hedge?” into a priceable job. Free, brandable, and it covers the detail that decides the price.

Template FAQs

Common questions about the Hedge Trimming Quote Request Form — what it captures, when to use it, and how to make it your own.

What do you need to quote hedge trimming?

The rough length, the height, the type of hedge, the access, and whether we’re clearing the clippings. That’s enough to price it — a tall leylandii over a fence is very different to a low box hedge.

How is hedge cutting priced?

On the length, the height and how awkward it is to reach — taller and trickier means more time, kit and care. Clearing a big volume of clippings adds to it. The form captures all of that for an accurate quote.

Is there a best time to cut hedges?

Many hedges are cut in late summer after the main growth, and formal ones twice a year. Avoid cutting during bird nesting season (roughly March to August) where birds may be nesting — it’s an offence to disturb active nests, so we’ll check and advise.

Can you reduce the height of a big hedge?

Usually yes — we can cut an overgrown hedge back and lower it, though very hard reductions on conifers like leylandii need care as they don’t always regrow from old wood. Tell us what you want and we’ll advise what’s sensible.

Who clears up the clippings?

Your choice — some customers compost them, others want it all taken away. A tall, long hedge makes a surprising amount, so the form asks, and we’ll include haulage in the quote if you’d like us to clear it.

Is the quote request free?

Yes — free with a Fun Forms account, fully customisable, and it embeds on your site or shares as a link.
