Custom Domains

Send autoresponder emails from your own domain with Custom Domains.

Connect your domain to Fun Forms, verify it using DNS records, and create custom sender addresses for your autoresponder emails.

To set up a custom domain, head to your Account page and select Add Domain, then enter your domain name:

You’ll then be given a TXT record to verify domain ownership.

# Verify Your Domain

Once you’ve added your domain, copy the TXT record and add to your DNS settings:

Add the record with your domain provider, then click Verify.

DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to become available with some providers. Once your domain has been successfully verified, you’ll see a green tick and Verified badge next to your domain.

# Enable Email Sending

After verifying your domain, you’ll be given two additional TXT records to enable email sending from your domain:

Add both records to your domain’s DNS settings, then click Verify again.

Once verified, you’ll see green ticks and a Verified badge next to Email Sending. You’ll also see a new Sender addresses section where you can create the email addresses you want to send from:

# Use Your Custom Sender Address

After adding a Sender address, you can select it when configuring your Custom Emails under Settings > Emails:

Your autoresponder emails can now be sent using a sender address from your own domain, giving your email communications a consistent sender identity.

# Serve Forms From Your Domain

We’re working on the ability to serve your forms directly from your custom domain. This feature isn’t available yet, but we’ll update this page when it’s ready.
